There's our ship -- the Fantasy.  No clue what that whale-tail dealy sticking up from the uppermost deck is, but anyway...  Lauren and I (along with a horde of other would-be stingray-snorkelers and snuba-divers) were aboard one of many small party ships called Calypso (I think ours was the Calypso IV), headed out for Blue Lagoon Island...

Ah, there's nothing like a boatload of tourists in the hot sun, is there?

It was a nice enough little ship -- a bit crowded, and the live band was deafening on the lower decks -- but we managed to find deck chairs on top, and settled in for the trip across the harbor (or bay, or whatever it was)...  Too bad we didn't find out that the legal drinking age in the Bahamas is 18 until we were leaving the boat -- and then the drinks were all overpriced on the island, so never mind...

As harbors go, this was a pretty decent one to be ferried across.  Nice stuff to look at -- though I was and remain clueless as to the significance of this large pinkish building. (Luxury hotel?  Governor's mansion?)

We weren't the only ones out enjoying the weather, either.  A veritable fleet of small craft...
